My very good friend Matilda Doolittle has been working her little socks off designing some new skins for me. You will see the changes appear over the next couple of days. I'm going to re-arrange the menu and archive the Science, Polls and History forums since they are no longer used. Well, they never were used much anyway

I didn't realise the transfer would happen as quickly as it did. I was going to transfer all the backgrounds over to the images in the support forum for you so that I could clear them from my photobucket account. However because of hospital visits and goodness knows what else yesterday I didn't get time to do it.

There is no rush, but it would be a good idea to put all the banners and backgrounds either in support images or on your own PB account (or whatever you use)....

As you all know, Golden Gem wanted to take a step back from being a board owner. She either wanted someone to take over the board ownership of Simply Friends or to close the board down. This board was the first one I stumbled upon when I first ventured into Yuku-land and I was made welcome by her and everyone else here straight away. I've always felt comfortable and at home here. For that, and other reasons, I thought it would be real shame to see it close. So I offered to take it on....
